Joy Nancarrow

RSHom, MNCHM, PGCE

Joy has been practising as a classical homeopath since graduating from the Northern College of Homeopathic Medicine and her registration with the Society of Homeopaths.  Prior to this she worked within the NHS as a Senior Scientific Officer in Microbiology.

Having used the remedies in the treatment of her own children as well as herself, and finding it to be a natural and effective alternative, she completed the four years of training required to practice as a professional homeopath.

Joy is also a qualified adult education teacher having achieved her PGCE at North Tyneside College. She teaches homeopathy, Holistic Health and Community Mental Health for the WEA at a variety of locations within the Northern District.

In addition to her private practice at Sweet Thyme Therapy Centre she also runs first aid homeopathy classes and a low cost clinic at Women’s Health in South Tyneside.  Here women can access professional homeopaths and learn how to safely and effectively use first aid homeopathic remedies to treat themselves and their families.
